Welcome!

I am a theatre director and educator. I live and work in Metro Vancouver, BC and love the many kinds of theatre and performance art this beautiful city has to offer! I work in the hope that the art my students and I create in collaboration with others contributes more beauty and dialogue to our community.
 
I am most drawn to scripts in which characters engage in a search for love, a fight for justice, or a journey towards healing and reconciliation. I care deeply about telling the stories of women, who are strong and beautiful. I strive to actively collaborate with designers and actors to create unique, fresh and provocative productions.
 
I am passionate about working with actors-in-training, having taught acting, directing and a variety of other courses at Trinity Western University, Illinois College, Western Washington University, and many theatre companies. I value my role as one of guiding actors as they develop characters who pursue their needs with clear actions, live truthful physical and emotional lives inside the stories they are telling, and respond honestly human to human in every moment.
